الملخص
لقد أسهم البحث في إبراز الكثير من الفتن والمعارك الإسلامية التي حدثت من صدر الإسلام حتى نهاية العصر العباسي الأول في سنة (232ه), والتي كان لها الأثر الكبير في فهم حركة التاريخ العربي الإسلامي خلال تلك المدة؛ لِمَا اشتمل عليه كتاب حِليَة الأولياء وطبقات الأصفياء من روايات كثيرة زودتنا بمعلومات غزيرة ومتنوعة عن أحداث جليلة. جاء البحث مقسَّمًا على أربعة مباحث, خُصِّص المبحث الأول لدراسة حياة أبي نعيم الأصبهاني, ومنهجه في كتاب حِليَة الأولياء. وتناول المبحث الثاني حروب الرِّدَّة, والفتوحات الإسلامية في العصر الراشدي: معارك تحرير العراق من السيطرة الفارسية, وفتح تُسْتَر, وأذربيجان, وقبرص, وماسَبَذان. وتطرَّق المبحث الثالث إلى الفتوحات الإسلامية والفتن في العصر الأموي: الحروب ضد البيزنطيين, ضد التُرك, فتح الأندلس والهند, والفتن الداخلية: ثورة المختار, وابن الأشعث, وابن الزبير. وأشار المبحث الرابع إلى الفتن والمعارك الإسلامية في العصر العباسي الأول: الحروب بين العباسيين والأمويين, الحروب ضد البيزنطيين, والحرب ضد التُرك. واشتمل البحث على خاتمة تضمنت أبرز النتائج التي توصِّل إليها البحث, وثَبْت بالمصادر التي أسهمت في كتابته.
