Abstract

This research deals with the topic (derivation from the names of tangible events) in an analytical study of verbs and nouns derived from the nouns of tangible events in Ibn Manzur's Lisan al-Arab dictionary(d.711AH).

The research has shown that many of the origins of derivation are names for events with tangible significance, and that linguists have found a lot on the origins of words and the verbs and nouns derived from them, and clarifying their connotations.Tangible connotations.

This research was divided into an introduction, a preface, two chapters, and a conclusion: the first topic was devoted to deriving the structures of verbs from concrete events, and the second of them was devoted to deriving the structures of nouns from concrete events, and then the conclusion came including the most important results that were followed by the references reached by the sources. I relied on it for research.
