Abstract
This study aims to identify the role of educational media in developing the personal skills of secondary school students in Khartoum State. The researchers employed a descriptive-analytical method, utilizing a questionnaire as the primary tool to ensure data reliability. The study sample consisted of 220 secondary school teachers, and data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results indicated high levels of student participation in educational media programs and a correspondingly high level of personal skills within these programs. Furthermore, a significant positive correlation was found between participation skills and students' personal skills. Based on these findings, the study recommended that educational institutions optimally utilize educational media to enhance students' academic, cultural, and skillful performance. Additionally, school administrations should encourage student engagement in media programs to boost cognitive skills. The study also suggested implementing physical competitions for presenting curriculum materials to increase motivation and urged satellite channels to produce programs that encourage peer-to-peer learning and academic support.
