Abstract

             This study aimed to classify the views and attitudes of Art Education teachers concerning the use of AI in producing handicrafts. The study employed the analytical descriptive method. The study population contained all Art Education teachers at the intermediate stage in the Ba'quba District, Buhrez Sub-District. The population included (40) male and female teachers. The researcher chose a sample of (30) teachers. The research instrument was a questionnaire, containing three axes with (24) items related to the study topic. Data were collected, analyzed, and processed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The following result are reached:   The degree of teachers' views and attitudes towards the use of AI in making handicrafts was moderate, with a mean score of (2.46).   The degree of teachers' views and attitudes concerning the difficulties and challenges of using AI in producing handicrafts was moderate, with a mean score of (2.45).   The degree of teachers' views and attitudes concerning the training needs for using AI in producing handicrafts was moderate, with a mean score of (2.59).   There were no statistically significant differences at the significance level of (0.05) in the teachers' views and attitudes concerning the difficulties and challenges of using AI in producing handicrafts attributable to the variable (gender).   There were no statistically significant differences at the significance level of (0.05) in the degree of teachers' perceptions and attitudes regarding the training needs for using AI in making handicrafts attributable to the variable (years of experience).The study put forward recommendations, comprising forming a specialized technical team from all relevant disciplines in AI and Art Education to provide technical support and assist teachers when facing any difficulties in use. It also suggested many topics for future studies.
