Abstract

The current research aims to investigate the effectiveness of a computer-based training program based on adult learning theory in developing positive thinking and educational values among teachers and its impact on instilling them in their students.

The experimental design approach with two groups, experimental and control, with a post-test, and the descriptive approach in constructing the training program were relied upon. The sample of teachers consisted of (42) teachers and the sample of their students consisted of (240) students.

The researchers prepared research tools that were applied to two survey samples to ensure their validity, reliability and strength of discrimination. The data were processed using the statistical program (SPSS25). The study concluded that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of teachers (the experimental group who received training in the computerized training program) and the average The scores of teachers (the control group who did not receive training in the program) in positive thinking and educational values were in favor of the experimental group. In light of the research results, the researchers presented a set of recommendations, such as launching a community awareness. Among the suggestions is conducting a similar study implemented at other educational levels.
