Abstract

The current research aims to investigate the effectiveness of coordinative thinking skills in developing cognitive integration among intermediate school students in the subject of philosophy and psychology. The descriptive approach was used to build the proposed strategy, and the experimental approach was used for quasi-experimental design to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy in developing cognitive integration. The research sample consisted of a number of fifth-graders in the literary branch, numbering 67 students in the two schools affiliated with the Al-Dhuluiya Education Department/ General Directorate of Salah al-Din Education. The experimental group was from Al-Shafi'i Secondary School for Boys, consisting of 33 students, and the control group was from Al-Jahiz Secondary School for Boys, consisting of 34 students.
