Psychological Immunity and Its Relationship to Quality of Life among University Students

Abstract
This study aims to identify psychological immunity and its relationship to the quality of life among university students. The research sample consisted of 400 students from Tikrit University. The researcher prepared a scale for psychological immunity of 40 items, and a scale for the quality of life of 24 items. The researcher tested the validity and reliability by presenting them to a specialized group of experts in the field of educational psychology, measurement and evaluation. The researcher reached a set of results and conclusions, including that psychological immunity had a weak relationship with the quality of life due to the preoccupation and courses that accompany university life, which is a condition present among university students and requires further studies. The researcher prepared a scale for psychological immunity of 40 items, and a scale for the quality of life of 24 items. The researcher presented a number of recommendations, including holding seminars, conferences and training courses in the field of psychological immunity and quality of life to learn about everything new in this context. He also reviewed a number of proposals, including presenting a study that addresses psychological immunity and its relationship to cognitive independence among university students.
