Abstract

The current research aims to identify the level of organizational vigilance among primary school principals to identify the level of organizational vigilance among primary school principals according to the variable of gender (male-female), and to identify the level of organizational vigilance among primary school principals according to the variable of specialization (scientific/human). The current research community consisted of 792 primary school principals in Salah al-Din Governorate for the academic year 2024-2025. The research sample consisted of 300 male and female principals. The validity and reliability of the scale were verified, and its discriminatory power was extracted. The correlation coefficient between the score of each item and the total score of the scale was extracted. Three items were deleted, leaving the final version of the scale consisting of 30 items. The reliability coefficient was calculated using the retest method, reaching 0.86. The reliability coefficient was also extracted using the alpha coefficient, reaching 0.88. After collecting the data, it was processed. Statistically using statistical methods and using the statistical program (spss). The study reached the following results: School principals have a high level of organizational vigilance, there are no statistically significant differences in the organizational vigilance variable among school principals according to the gender variable (male, female), there are no statistically significant differences in the organizational vigilance variable among primary school principals according to the specialization variable (scientific, humanities).
