Administrative competency and its relationship to performance ffectiveness among secondary school principals from the point of view of the teaching staff

Abstract
The research problem becomes clear. It requires introducing the competency element into administrative work and bringing in contemporary administrative thought that achieves continuous success with the requirements of reality. The effective principal must have continuous change and permanent development, through the introduction of successful competency packages in administrative work according to the tools available in his institution. The school principal is today. A leader of an institution, a task that requires that leadership work hard, purposefully, and successfully. The teacher cannot be effective and achieve her goals continuously and permanently except through leaders who are distinguished by effective creative abilities worthy of leading the institution and who work to reflect their goals in terms of effectiveness of performance, and thus influence subordinates in order to achieve the mission of educational institutions of greater quality and high proficiency. The research aimed to identify administrative competence. And its relationship to the effectiveness of performance among secondary school principals from the point of view of the teaching staff
The research identified members of the teaching staff who work in secondary schools and who work in the Second Rusafa Directorate (Baghdad Governorate) for the academic year (2023-2024), who number (420) individuals. The researchers defined a set of terms specific to the research, in the theoretical aspect that It is related to the topic and addresses a group of studies related to the research topic. A set of procedures were followed in terms of describing the research community and its sample. A sample consisting of (100) individuals was obtained, which is a percentage of (23.8%) to the research community. A special research tool was built by reviewing previous literature and studies, as well as an open question. Validity and reliability were conducted on the tool. Then the research produced a number of results that were then presented and interpreted. Then I developed a set of conclusions, recommendations and proposals for the research.
