Professional Stability among Teachers at Tikrit University

Abstract
The current research aims to identify the professional stability of male and female lecturers at Tikrit University and to reveal the differences in professional stability of male and female lecturers at Tikrit University according to the gender variable and the differences in professional stability of male and female lecturers at Tikrit University according to the specialization variable. The research sample was selected using the proportional random stratified method, amounting to (200) male and female teachers, with (120) male teachers and (80) female teachers. The researcher identified ten areas for the professional stability scale in two main areas, which are (motivational factors and career growth). For the purpose of preparing the appropriate scale paragraphs to measure professional stability according to its fields based on the theoretical framework used in the research and by directing a survey questionnaire to a sample of the research community of (30) male and female teachers, a set of paragraphs were formulated for the professional stability scale that the researcher intends to build and apply to identify the level of professional stability. The paragraphs of the scale were prepared in their initial form, where the number of paragraphs that were formulated reached 60 paragraphs distributed over 10 fields. It also showed that there is a difference in professional stability according to the gender variable in favor of females, and that there is no difference in professional stability according to the specialization variable. In the light of these results, the researcher reached a set of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.
