The Effectiveness of a Proposed Strategy Based on the Value Approach in Acquiring Grammatical Concepts among Fifth-grade Literary Students

Abstract
Grammatical concepts are one of the basic pillars of the Arabic language, as they directly affect students' ability and effective communication. However, many students in the fifth literary grade face difficulties in understanding and absorbing these concepts and terms. The value approach is known as an educational approach that focuses on integrating human and social values into the educational process. Through this approach, grammatical concepts are presented in contexts that enhance students' understanding of them, making learning more attractive and effective. Therefore, the study aims to explore the effectiveness of a new educational strategy based on the value approach to improve the acquisition of grammatical concepts and develop skills in addition to enhancing understanding to improve students' comprehension of grammatical concepts and increase motivation in addition to motivating students to participate effectively in lessons and developing critical and creative thinking skills through activities related to values. The steps of the strategy and determining values in choosing a set of values that are consistent with the grammatical concepts to be taught and designing advanced educational activities and various activities that include group discussions, projects, and presentations, so that these activities are related to the selected values. Evaluation of the results is done through using various assessment tools to measure students’ understanding and application of grammatical concepts. It is expected that using the value approach will improve students’ level of understanding of grammatical concepts and to improve academic performance to enhance overall performance in Arabic. The preliminary results indicate that the proposed strategy based on the value approach is effective in enhancing the acquisition of grammatical concepts. By integrating values into grammar teaching, teachers can improve the learning experience and increase students’ motivation.
