Job Satisfaction and Its Relationship to Job Performance among Employees at An-Najah National University\ Palestine

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to shed light on job satisfaction and its relationship to job performance among workers at An-Najah National University. The study adopted the descriptive correlational method. The job satisfaction and job performance scale were used to achieve the objectives of the study. The study sample consisted of 98 individuals working at An-Najah National University.
The study revealed a significant correlation between job satisfaction and job performance among university employees، with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.340 indicating a moderate degree of correlation. Additionally، the study found no significant differences in the relationship between job satisfaction and job performance among university employees based on variables such as (gender، years of experience، educational qualification، nature of work، college).
Based on the results، the study recommended the necessity of holding training courses to develop employees’ skills، regularly evaluating the level of skills، increasing the degree of independence at work، improving incentive and wage programs، and improving the level of satisfaction with the organizational climate.
