Abstract

Sources of cultural diversity originate from postmodern culture, characterized by fragmentation, multiple centers, and hybridization, as well as through mechanisms of diffusion and penetration.

The research aimed to explore the sources of cultural diversity in postmodern arts. The parameters of the research encompassed the period from 1950 to 2011, focusing on artistic works associated with postmodern art in America. The problem research answers the following questions:

  • In what sense  sources of cultural diversity, in its various forms, exert influence on the development of postmodernism?

  • Do sources of cultural diversity enhance the diversity of visual cultural systems and media in the development of postmodernism?

Sections of the study address the intellectual and philosophical concept of postmodernism,  cultural diversity and its influence on postmodern arts. The study concludes that cultural diversity is manifested through modern scientific and technological methods in the creation of contemporary plastic art.
