Abstract

The current research aims at recognizing the level of transitional programs presented with disabilities from their teachers’ point of view through using the descriptive analytical approach and designing and applying the questionnaire. The sample of the research consisted of (135) teachers who teach students with disabilities in Mecca. The results indicated an average level of transitional programs presented with disabilities from their teachers’ point of view, with an arithmetic average of (3.03). It, also, indicated that there were statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) due to the effect of academic qualification on these dimensions (independence skills, self-determination skills, professional qualification, and total degree) in favor of PhD qualification. There are differences due to the effect of the experience years on the dimensions: (independence skills, self-determination skills, vocational qualification, and total degree) in favor of those with more than 10 years’ experience. The researcher recommends the need to increase attention to transportation programs provided to people with disabilities, and to pay more attention to training students with disabilities.
