The researcher followed the descriptive approach based on the content analysis method. The research sample consisted of all topics in the table of contents of science text book designed for the fourth grade of primary school. In order to accomplish the research objective, the researcher developed a content analysis form based on life skills. The researcher assessed the form's validity and reliability by comparing it with another researcher, and it achieved a rating of 77%. Over time, its value increased to 90%, and the researcher obtained the following results: The science book for the fourth grade of primary school had the highest number of occurrences and percentages for manual skills, with a total of 48 occurrences and a percentage of 31.79%. Skills followed after manual skills. The category with the highest frequency, accounting for 39 occurrences and 25.83% of the total, is environmental skills. Health skills had the second highest frequency with 24 occurrences, making up 15.89% of the total.
