Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aims at (cartographic modeling of the types of population densities in Salah al-Din Governorate), and defined the administrative borders of Salah al-Din Governorate within the north-central part of Iraq, which are confined coordinately between longitudes (16o, 32o, 42o-11o, 59o, 44o) to the east, and between Two latitudes (23°, 21°, 33° - 33°, 41°, 35°) north, and the total area of the governorate is (24358.80) square kilometers. The results showed the types of population densities through the application of equations for the types of densities and the population census data for the year 2022 AD, for the governorate and the number of workers in agriculture. Productivity (6026.8) people / km 2, for the total study area. This study recommends the need to reduce the increasing population pressure in the units within the municipal boundaries, by providing all kinds of services, and distributing them fairly, especially in the outskirts of the district centers.
