Abstract

The study of residential neighborhoods and the services and activities they contain must be exploited for the sake of man, his comfort and his well-being, whether in cities or towns Al-Shuhada neighborhood is one of the residential neighborhoods that must be studied and shown that it suffers from a severe shortage of many services and there is high population pressure on this neighborhood if it forms about 52.5% of the city’s residential area, and it is occupied by about 45.4% of the city’s. Here population, and Al-Kassar, which represents the weight of the city despite its shape. This longitudinal neighborhood has a negative impact on the distribution of services societal services and ancillary services were studied from health, education, parks, drinking water and garbage collection, details of each, service from operating and bypassing hours on the network, the presence of waste collection and disposal containers, and the standard of schools. The 568 families, chi-square, was used to find the relationship between the variables, and it was found that the scientific level has nothing to do with satisfaction with general services and the focal structures in particular. The level of deprivation was measured by the method of Vera-Sartizer. The study found that commercial services in the neighborhood are not regular and affected the amount of solid waste. The study recommended that the Fallujah experience could be used in exploiting the land confined between Tharthar Street and the train track, and exploiting the land between the expressway and neighborhood as parks, playgrounds and entertainment places.
