Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out: -

 - The difference between the students of the experimental group in the pre and post scale of cognitive speed in biology for the tenth grade.

- The difference between the students of the control group in the pre and post scale of cognitive speed in Biology for the tenth grade.

  • The differences between the students of the experimental group who studied according to the Savi model for accelerated learning and the students of the control group who studied according to the method used in the post-test of cognitive speed in biology for the tenth grade.

The experimental method was used as a research method, and the research community consisted of all governmental high schools in the center of Erbil Governorate, which numbered (42) and had (4018) female students ages 15-16. Four schools were chosen by lottery based on geographical distribution (North, South, East, West) and the number of female students (307). Two groups were formed: the experimental group (26) students studied according to the SAVI model for accelerated learning, and the control group (25) students studied according to the method used. The two research groups were compared in several research variables, and the research tool was measured by the cognitive speed test (prepared by the researchers), which had three sections.
