Abstract

The current research seeks to achieve the following objectives:


Building an educational program based on information processing theory to improve the mental fitness skills of middle school students.


The research sample consisted of (58) female students، including the experimental group (30) female students، and the control group comprising (28) female students. The equivalence between the two research groups was verified in the test variables (intelligence، chronological age calculated in months، parental academic achievement، tribal mental fitness scale.


 The researcher used a number of statistical methods، including t-test for two independent samples (T-test) to reward the two groups and to find out the significance of the difference between them and Cronbach's alpha equation to calculate the stability coefficient for the mental fitness scale and the square equation to verify the equality of the two research groups in the academic achievement of the parents، and the t-test for two independent samples and the test The t-test for two interrelated samples and calculating the effect size using the ETA equation. The results showed:



  1. The female students of the experimental group، to whom the educational program was applied، outperformed the female students of the control group in the post-test، with a statistically significant difference، at the level of significance (0.05).

  2. There is a statistically significant difference between the scores of the experimental group students to whom the educational program was applied on the mental fitness scale (pre and post) in favor of the post test.


As a complement to the current research، the researcher came up with a number of recommendations and proposals
