Abstract

The current research aims to identify:



  1. Organizational laxity among primary school principals from the teachers' point of view.

  2. Differences in organizational laxity among primary school principals according to the gender variable (male - female) from the teachers' point of view.

  3. Statistically significant differences in the organizational slackness of primary school principals according to the variable number of years of service (less than 5 years, more than 5 years) from the point of view of teachers.


The current research community consisted of primary school teachers in the Al-Alam district in Salah Al-Din Governorate for the academic year (2022-2023), and their number was (939) male and female teachers distributed by (329) male and (610) female teachers belonging to (63) primary schools , the researcher chose the research sample in a random stratified manner according to the gender variable (male-female) and the number of years of service.


The scale becomes in its final form consisting of (32) items within four areas: (the field of laws and regulations, the field of administrative and technical tasks, the field of relationship with senior management, the field of relationship with colleagues) The researcher adopted statistical methods that are appropriate to the research and the nature of its objectives based on the consultation of some specialists in the field of statistics and using the Statistical Bag for Social Sciences (SPSS) After completing the procedures for building the scale, the researcher applied the scale to the research sample of (300) male and female students, and after collecting the forms and processing the data statistically, they reached the following results:



  1. The level of organizational laxity among male and female managers is low

  2. There is no difference in organizational laxity according to the gender variable

  3. There are statistically significant differences in organizational laxity according to the number of years of service variable in favor of the least number of years of service.


     Through the results of the research, the two researchers presented a number of recommendations and proposals.
