Future Anxiety among University Students

Abstract
The aim of the research is to measure the level of future anxiety among university students and to find out the significance of the difference in the level of future anxiety according to the gender variable (male, female). 60 male students, and (60) female students were chosen for the study. In order to verify the objectives of the research, the two researchers prepared a measure of future anxiety, consisting of (30) items with four alternatives (always applies to me, applies to me a lot, applies to me a little, does not apply to me), and the two researchers were sure of the validity and stability of the scale, and after the final application on the sample, the results came out: the calculated t-value amounted to (8.68), which is thus higher than its tabular value of (1.96). ). At a degree of freedom (119), and a level of significance (0.05), which means that the research sample has high future anxiety, there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of the sample according to the gender variable (males, females), and the researchers attribute this result to the fact that male and female students do not differ in future anxiety
