Abstract

This study examines the methods of Islamic call in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, as well as a number of advocacy concepts, such as a human appeal to divine will. And the means of this call between the illustrious past of the Islamic call and the diverse present, instruments and methods for achieving the desired objective.Furthermore, the study examined the traditional means of the Islamic call and its dissemination in Kurdistan, which include mosques, religious institutions (chambers), khanqahs, zawiyas, Sufi hospices, and the Noble Hadith House.The teaching of Islamic sciences in Iraqi Kurdistan, particularly in Erbil, began in the sixth century AH under the so-called chamber system. Muhammad bin Ali bin Jami' al-Arbali, Professor al-Khidr bin Nasr bin Aqil al-Arbali al-Shafi'i, was its first teacher.And the Kurdish leader Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi had a clear role in drawing the features of Sufism in Egypt, and its undoubtedly influence on the Kurds who were with him. However, the Sufi orders took a political turn during the Ottoman era, and they took great interest in the formations of the Ottoman Empire, and they were managed by the Supreme Council of Sufi Sheikhs.The faculties of Islamic sciences, Islamic institutes, private Islamic colleges, and the Islamic Institute of Al-Azhar University are among the means of contemporary Islamic preaching in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.A group of Kurds believing in their Lord, realizing the importance of the Holy Qur’an, in the Iqiq of Iraqi Kurdistan, turned to a noble mission, which is the task of caring for and preserving the Holy Qur’an, headed by the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in the Kurdistan Region. It studies the ten recurring recitations, which it named (Directorate of Teaching and Memorizing the Holy Qur’an). It is necessary to benefit from the discoveries of contemporary science, and modern and contemporary means, especially what this century has witnessed, which is known as the information and communication revolution, which enables the Muslim preacher to reach the desired goal.Finally: The preacher must take into account diversity in the means of advocacy and in proportion to the time, place, people and conditions, taking into account the sound methods of reception and the selection of electronic sources that are characterized by honesty in speech and moderation in opinion and are keen on the unity of societies and the advancement of their citizens, and distance from social channels and sites that It encourages violence and killing in all its forms.
