Abstract

The following elements are the bases of the artwork, which are represented by point, line, shape, color, space and texture. From these elements, relationships arise according to organizational and aesthetic bases known as movement, rhythm, balance, opposition, harmony, unity, diversification, sovereignty, contrast, symmetry.


Therefore, through the results of the exploratory study, the researcher discovered that there is a problem represented by the weakness of the skills of these students in the process of employing them in artistic work, which may be due to the lack of educational stimuli to help teach them and their work in arousing the attention of students towards the vocabulary of the subject, so the justifications for the current research come through the following question:


What is the effectiveness of the elements of artistic work in developing the skills of primary school students?


The current research aims to identify the effectiveness of the elements of artistic work in developing the artistic skills of primary school students.


To verify the aim of the research, the researcher put the two zero hypotheses.


The research community consisted of (628) students from Omar Al-Mukhtar Elementary School affiliated to the General Directorate of Education in Al-Rusafa, with (327) male and (301) female students. A random sample of (68) fifth grade students was chosen, and they were distributed by the school administration into two divisions (A, B) with (34) male and female students for each division, so the researcher identified division (A) as an experimental group and division (B) as a control group. To extract the results, the statistical package SPSS was used. The most important results are:


2- The diversity of the components of the teaching plans in the elements and foundations of the artistic work contributed to raising students' motivation and their attention to the subjects of the teaching plans, as it provided a good classroom and educational environment.
