The Effects of Doctrinal Baptism in the Christian Religion
Main Article Content
Abstract
One must be baptized in order to become a Christian, regardless of whether or not he already identified. Baptism may take place at any time, including on a person's deathbed. Since the Christian denominations do not agree on anything other than baptism, and even if they did, they would dispute on how to perform it, how frequently it should be done, and who has the right to be baptized. Baptism comes in two forms for Christians: (by immersion and by sprinkling). Some believe that re-baptism is acceptable, while others forbid it. If a person changes their religious affiliation and attends a different church, they will need to undergo another baptism.
