Abstract

The study aimed to identify the reality of e-learning at the University of Tikrit as seen by the professors and students. Therefore, two questionnaires were prepared, the first for the faculty members numbering (133) and the second for students, which was applied to a random sample of the fourth stage students at the University of Tikrit.
The results of the study showed the following:
- There is no statistically significant difference between the average scores of the faculty members on the axis (the extent of the use of e-learning, its negatives, its advantages, and its obstacles) according to the variable of teaching experience, the absence of a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the faculty members on the axis (the extent of the use of e-learning). , positive, negative) for the variable of specialization,
The percentage of interest of both faculty members and students in e-learning is minimal, and e-learning and broadcasting lectures with audio and video are among its least uses. In front of the computer for a long time and the most important obstacles were the lack of rooms dedicated to e-learning.
