Abstract

The objective of the research is to learn about the reality of the partnership between the school and the community based on the capacity building project, an EU funded project aimed at improving the quality of education and equal opportunity in learning. It is implemented in Iraq for the primary and secondary levels by the British Council in partnership with the Ministry of Education, And the Ministry of Planning in the center and the Kurdistan region for the period from February 2017 to May 2020. The researcher adopted the descriptive approach. The sample is consisted of (80) teachers and schools, (80) students, and 60 parents randomly selected from the research community Baquba district of the province of Diyala / Iraq and to achieve the goal of the research relied on the questionnaires contained in the project of capacity-building funded by the European Union. The results of the study showed that the reality of the company between the school and the local community was at a very good level of 80%. The researcher recommended activating the partnership between the school and the local community to improve the abilities of the different students.
