Abstract

This study aims to highlight an aspect of (linguistic analogy) in anthropological theory, that is, to explain the relationship between the fields of anthropology and modern linguistics, the study tries to show this relationship through (the concept of culture) which imposed itself on the anthropological study and harnessing the potentials of modern linguistics and its models, cognitive tools, and research methods in study and analysis, On what is evident - for example - in the perceptions of (Leslie White) and also on the perceptions of those who White contradicts of American anthropologists, and the extent to which these people depend in building their perceptions on the products of linguistics.
