Abstract

   The research aims to know the effect of the five-year learning course on the achievement of ancient civilizations subject among first-grade intermediate students. The researcher chose Moaz Bin Jabal Intermediate School for Boys, affiliated to the General Directorate of Education in Al-Karkh / Al-Awal, as a field for the current research. The sample of the research reached (68) applications, and by (34) for the experimental group whose students will study the subject of ancient civilizations according to the five-year learning cycle, and (34) for the control group whose students will study the same subject in the usual way. After correcting the answers and treating the data statistically, the results were revealed: Its effectiveness in increasing the achievement of middle first graders in the subject of ancient civilizations.
