The Impact of the Low Hand Strategy in Developing Reflective Thinking Among Students of History Classes in Middle Stages

Abstract
The current research aims to identify: The effect of the low hand strategy in developing reflective thinking among second-grade students in the middle school in history.
There is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who studied according to the low hand strategy and the average scores of the control group students who studied according to the usual method. The research sample consists of (60) students of the second intermediate grade. As for the research tool, the reflective thinking test consists of (30) items which are examined through statistical means: (the two-way test for two independent samples - the two-test for two correlated samples - the paragraph difficulty equation - the paragraph discrimination equation.
The research concludes that the experimental group outperforms the control group in the reflective thinking test.
