The Existential Vacuum and its Relationship to the two Personality Types (A-B) among University Students

Abstract
uselessness, boredom and emptiness that dominate a person in many aspects of his life are among the problems that a person suffers from in this time more than any other time, alongside the accumulation of psychological pressures and the monotony of the surrounding environment and its lack of human manifestations that guide a person towards a life devoid of meanings and values. The aim of the current research is to identify the level of existential vacuum among university students, and whether there are differences between the sexes and the relationship between the existential vacuum and the two personality types. Where the research sample consisted of (200) male and female students from the university’s College of Education for Human Sciences, and after completing the procedures for preparing standards for research and using appropriate statistical methods, the researcher reached the following results that university students enjoy an existential void at an average level. And there is a difference in the existential void scale for students University in favor of males. The reason for this is as a result of males being exposed to crises, obstacles and challenging situations more than those facing females, which gave them a feeling of emptiness of the meaning of life and emptiness in their lives of meaning, as well as of their weak ability to satisfy their needs as a result of the lack of opportunities provided by the society around them. The researcher recommended to a set of recommendations and proposals
