Abstract
The research aims to explain the most prominent of what was written by the Moroccan geographers and travelers represented by Al-Idrisi and Ibn Battuta about India in the sixth and eighth centuries AH/ twelfth and fourteenth AD, and the research dealt with the most prominent features of Indian society in that period. The characteristics of the population and their nature, then talk about the most prominent Indian cities, and in the second chapter the political, economic and social life was covered. The research dealt with the political and administrative aspect in the countries of India, and the most famous customs and traditions that prevailed in Indian society, and in conclusion the researcher reviewed the features of religious and cultural life. In the countries of India, with a focus on the most famous beliefs and rituals and the most prominent religious groups.
