Abstract

Yemen has a set of geo-political and geo-economic importance. Despite that, Yemeni people's awareness is not directed towards this importance. Instead, it has a huge impact on the Saudi strategy since the kingdom has realized the geo-political importance for Yaman in achieving all of its interests in the region throughout Dominating of Yemen's capabilities. Saudi Kingdom has justified its actions by asserting that these actions are taken to protect the Sea tracks of oil because Yemen takes control over Bab al-Mandab Strait. The real reason for this war in which Gulf states and some African countries have become Allied, taking some American and British logistic support is Iranian-Saudi conflict over Sovereignty within the territory and revealing the Military power, so it is necessary to sacrifice Yemen and its people to take control over red sea region since it has the longest coastal stretch, especially after the occurrence of Arabic spring revolutions in 2011. The Yemeni revolution is directed against Ali Abd Allah Salah. It is the first fear for Saudi Arabia, suspecting that this revolution may reach Saudi cities. What happens later is steadfastness of the Houthis with Iranian support, taking control over Sana'a in 2014. Then, Saudi kingdom exploits from gulf states' fears about their oil exports to fulfill its political ambitions in Yemen, and to stop Iranian hegemony in the region. Moreover, Iran uses it as a greatly effective strategy throughout supporting Houthi group, and normalize its relations Eritrea and Djibouti as an attempt to put its feet on the other side of Bab al-Mandab Strait. In this way, Iran can control the strategic Strait. Thus, it threatens the interests of Gulf states in oil exports which pass through the strait to the Mediterranean and Europe. In addition, it destroys the hopes of the international trade from the south and south-east of Asia through Bab al-Mandab Strait.
