Means of Social Control among the Arabs before Islam

Abstract
Before Islam, the Arabs lived for many years without codified laws or a state under which they could settle. However, their societies were not free from the existence of some means that define and control acceptable behavior. The tribal leadership represented the head of authority for them, and the customs, customs and traditions represented the laws that they adhered to. They have rulers which they refer to settle their disputes and inheritances, and whoever dared to violate their morals and their system as deposed from his tribe, and alienated from it.
