Abstract

Extremism, in all its form and types, plays a destructive role in religious and worldly issues. It brings into the destruction of cities with mosques, institutes, homes, hospitals and villages and urban areas. It also targets the humanity of human as it implants hostility, calamities and other problems related to it represented by what happened recently in Muslim countries. As a contribution to the fight against this dangerous phenomenon that targets Islam and Muslims, we mentioned the most important characteristics of the identity of religious extremist to make people aware of identifying him and to warn about him. This is addressed through this research entitled: ((The Characteristic Features of the Identity of Religious Extremist((. In the introduction, we referred to the main reasons for the emergence of extremism, why this topic was picked up and some other related issues we addressed. It consists of a single main section including four sub-sections. The research came up with some important results, of which is the way we can deal with the phenomenon of extremism.
