Abstract

Bottled water industry is considered one of the modern industries that emerged in response to the growing need for safe and clean drinking water amid increasing environmental pollution, population growth, and urban expansion. This industry has undergone several stages of development, beginning with primitive methods of water treatment and progressing to advanced technologies such as filtration, reverse osmosis, ozonation, chlorination, and ultraviolet disinfection. The study highlights the significant economic and public health importance of this industry, as it has become one of the fastest-growing manufacturing sectors worldwide and locally. It contributes to job creation, adds economic value, and plays a vital role in strengthening water and health security for society. The research also shows that bottled water production involves an integrated sequence of industrial stages, starting from bottle manufacturing and shaping, followed by purification and sterilization processes, filling, sealing, labeling, packaging, and finally storage and distribution. These stages reflect the integration of technological, health, and economic aspects within this industry, confirming its importance as a comprehensive industrial activity that relies on modern technology and international health standards.
