Possibility of cold and warm dust storms In Iraq according to the Poisson distribution
Main Article Content
Abstract
The subject of the study is the phenomenon of dust storms occurring over Iraq, distributed according to the equation of the normal distribution of Boison. This study has been studied using the analysis of climatic data for the days of dust storms over Iraq, as well as the extraction of weather maps and the various heights of the websites (vortex plymouth weather center). The data and data on this phenomenon were collected for the period (1985-2010). In this study, the stations (Mosul, Baghdad and Basrah) will be studied to represent Iraq as a North, Central and South Station respectively. The dust storms were classified into two types (cold storms) The study showed a decrease in temperature during the storm and after the storm faded. (Warm storms), which witnessed the study area rise in temperature during the storm and after the dust storm faded.
