Abstract

This research aims to investigate the effect of using artificial intelligence (AI) on developing historical concepts among fifth-grade literary track students in preparatory school. The study adopts an experimental design with pre- and post-tests for both control and experimental groups divided into two groups: the experimental group, which studied using AI applications, and the control group, which was taught using traditional methods. The sample consisted of 60 students from Ibn Al-Mu'tam High School for Boys, located in the Tikrit Education Directorate, during the 2024-2025 academic year. The students were equally divided into two groups: the experimental group, which studied using AI applications, and the control group, which was taught using traditional methods. The results showed a statistically significant difference in favor of the experimental group in the historical concepts test, indicating the effectiveness of AI in developing historical concepts.
