(Academic problems facing first-year students at the University of Diyala, especially colleges affiliated with the University of Diyala, and their relationship to their level of academic performance)

Abstract
First _ year students problems Diyala the faculties of the province and its relationship to the level of performance . The study aimed to identify the important academic and administrative that faces the first year students at the colleges of Diyala s province during study it also aimed to identify the academic performance level and relation degree between the problems and their performance level . The study found a range of recommendations the most notable of it were :
- That the students agree moderately on academic – problems related to (Professor , academic guidance , curriculums and student ) and the administrative problems related to ( admission and registration system and student Diyalas ) and largely largely agree on administrative problems related to building and educational equipment .
- The results showed the low level of academic performance it was found that (57.5 % ) of the total cumulative GPA of the students is between (1 to less than 2.75 ) .
- The results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the study sample about the academic and administrative problems that they face preliminary data variation ( total – average number of academic cumulative GPA – alarms ) .
- The results revealed an inveres relationship between academic problems associated with the university professors and the level of academic performance , that is , the more academic problems associated with university professors the versa .
- According to these results the study recommended a several recommendations to decrease the academic and administrative problems.
