Moral integrity and its relationship to self-transcendence among teachers in special education schools and classes

Abstract
The current study aims to identify:
- 1. Moral integrity among teachers in special education schools and classrooms.
- 2. Self-transcendence among teachers in special education schools and classrooms.
- The relationship between moral integrity and self-transcendence among teachers in special education schools and classrooms.
To achieve these aims, the researcher adopted the scale of (Kazem and Ali, 2023) for moral integrity, which is based on Olsen’s theory, as well as the scale of self-transcendence of (Reed, 1991), which is based on her theory. After confirming the validity of the scales to measure what they were designed for, they were applied to the research sample, which numbered (100) male and female teachers from special education schools and classes in Baghdad Governorate. The results yielded the following:
- The research sample members possess moral integrity.
- The research sample members possess the trait of self-transcendence.
- The relationship between the two variables is positive and strong.
