Demographic trends of displaced females in Iraq in 2025

Abstract
One of the most dangerous social diseases facing the world and societies is the phenomenon of social deviation, which is reflected in the phenomenon of homelessness, which is spreading at varying rates and its causes are diverse and complex. Stable families A family with the right social upbringing is far from this phenomenon, while a troubled family is a fertile ground for behavioral and psychological deviations. The segment of homeless women in Iraq witnessed a painful reality created by economic conditions.And social, as it made the street a place to which they resort, and the Iraqi Juvenile Law No. (76) of 1983 defined vagrancy as any juvenile found begging in public places or practicing the profession of polishing shoes or selling cigarettes as a wanderer, or Anything else and he did not have a specific place of residence or took public places as a shelter for him, and the researcher relied on a sample of homeless female juveniles through a field study in government homes and their number was 57 homeless women and this number In constant change from time to time, the reasons for their presence were due to begging, domestic violence, and the guardian depositing his daughter. The field study showed a difference in the geographical distribution in Iraq according to the governorates, as it recorded The highest percentage was in Baghdad Governorate, reaching (68.8%), in addition to examining many variables related to the phenomenon of homelessness, including educational attainment, the profession of the parents of the homeless, the economic situation,violence, and disintegration.The family, as the researcher studied the variables statistically, also this phenomenon had a group of effects, including health, psychological, intellectual and social.
