Regional variation in the distribution of some population data in Iraq for the year 2022 AD
Main Article Content
Abstract
The study of the regional variation of population data is among the most important issues that demographers and geographers pay great attention. These data are represented by their absolute relative and environmental numbers, as well as the regional variation of recorded deaths and births and marriage and divorce. The problem of research is the extent to which there is a regional variation of the aforementioned data and the most important reasons for this. The study hypothesizes that this disparity exists for demographic and social and cultural and economic reasons. The aim of the research is to show the regional spatial variation of the data referred to. The descriptive and analytical approach was used for the data obtained from the relevant authorities .The quantitative approach was also used where this was necessary. The study consisted of two sections. The first section dealt the numerical, relative, and regional distribution of birth, deaths, marriages, and divorces. The research found that there is spatial variation in the aforementioned data. It recommends redistributing capital and institutions across the entire area of Iraq and encouraging rural settlement in its various regions, especially areas of population sparseness as well as deterrent laws to reduce divorce cases and paying to health services in general and reproductive services in particular.
