Abstract
This research deals with an important aspect of the pre-islamic life of the Arabs. It may remove the vagueness around some of the questions that seem important in understanding the aspects of the pre-islamic era as the Arab pre-islamic era despite its vast scope was not as dark as the moral darkness that was said about it.The present research shows a bright side of the arabs lives which is the emergence of high morals among many of the pre-islamic people. Then the research identifies the life of one of its poets who possessed many noble morals. Then it focuses on one of his traits which is the trait of pride in this poet who died before he had yet realized Islam but he was able to light a candle in that era to be a spot of light by which the reader can deduce many aspects of morals.
