Abstract

The Islamic civilization has made great achievements in the development of science, and although it has benefited from previous civilizations, it has contributed greatly to the development of these sciences in a way that no other civilization has preceded. This is evidenced by the rich scientific heritage that has reached us, which indicates progress and prosperity in various branches of science and knowledge. The translation movement carried out by Islamic scholars in the first centuries played a pivotal role in the advancement of science, especially medical science, as it contributed to many knowledge. Thanks to these efforts, Islamic sciences became, in later stages, one of the most prominent levels of progress and development. Although it benefited from previous civilizations, it contributed greatly to the development of these sciences in a way that no other civilization had preceded it. This is evidenced by the rich scientific heritage that has reached us.
