Time and Its significance in Ibn al-Khayyat al-Dimashqi’s Poetry

Abstract
The present study came in response to several points starting with my desire to write about this poet and his poems that enriched the Arab cultural arena and spread his fame in it, hence the desire to show this creative Literary effect of Ibn Al-Khayyat, which I think deserves to be highlighted as a creative phenomenon with attractive energy in our Arab Arena in general and its impact in particular, Because it contains topics related to society and its human values, Whether eastern or Western, and it may include spiritual, religious and artistic values that have a direct impact on our Arab reality. Desiring to add reading about his book, I decided to study his poetry as a creative expression that simulates our present and touches our lived reality in one way or another. This research contains a presentation and themes to shed light on the relationship of literature with psychology and addressing time in the poet’s poetry.
