Cognitive participation and its relationship to thinking styles among university students

Abstract
The current research aims to identify the level of cognitive participation as well as to identify thinking styles among university students as well as to identify statistically significant differences according to the variable and gender. The research sample consisted of (300) male and female students from Tikrit University, and the researcher reached the following results:
- University students have a high level of cognitive participation.
2- There are no statistically significant differences in cognitive participation according to the variable of academic specialization (practical – humanities(
3- There are no statistically significant differences in cognitive participation according to the variable of gender (males – females(.
