Abstract
This study is concerned with the relationship between Japan and Oman. It reached into certain results. The Middle Eastern countries, especially Sultanate of Oman, constituted the second market for Japan in the field of exports, although Japanese companies occupied the first place in the field of exporting certain types of goods. It can be said that this market constituted a vital field for the Japanese economy.
The most important issue for Japan is obtaining oil in the first place, and Japanese companies were able to enter the field of oil investments. Japan has always sought to establish trade relations with countries, and for this purpose it has signed several trade agreements with the Sultanate of Oman, in addition to other countries, including Egypt and Jordan.
