Abstract

The importance of this topic springs from its relationship to the present bitter reality and the extent of correspondence between what Andalusia went through during that stage and what Islamic nation is going through  today.  In terms of methodology, the study  relied on the descriptive approach in narrating historical events. The difficulties of the study spring from the lack of Arabic sources that talked about the personality of the leader Musa bin Abi Ghassan, as well as the dissimilarity of information that talked about that historical era from one reference to another, and most of the Arab references relied in covering the events of that stage on what was quoted by foreign or translated references.
