Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the orientations of Arabic Department lecturers towards the utilization of technological tools. To achieve this objective, a representative sample of 100 male and female lecturers from the Arabic Departments at the Colleges of Education at Ibn Rushd University of Baghdad, Al-Mustansiriya University, and the University of Iraq was selected for the academic year 2019-2020. The researchers employed a questionnaire as the primary research instrument, comprising 20 items. Following electronic administration, the researchers obtained results that revealed a range of responses from the sample, spanning 38.33% to 93.66%. The items were subsequently arranged in descending order based on their percentage weight and weighted average to determine their relative importance. The overall mean score was 2.14, corresponding to a percentage of 71.33%, indicating a positive and acceptable trend. This finding suggests that university education is currently on a satisfactory trajectory.
