Abstract

Justice and tolerance are considered among the most important pillars and principles of Islam. The Holy Quran mentions the issue of justice in several verses, where Allah commands justice, tolerance, and kindness, and forbids immorality and wrongdoing. The Sunnah of the Prophet also shares this focus with the Quran. Our topic addresses the issue of justice and tolerance from an Islamic perspective, as the Quran is a religion of justice, and the morals of our Prophet are entirely Quranic.   The Islamic concept encompasses several notions, including forgiveness, tolerance, justice, pardoning the offender, avoiding oppression, patience in the face of harm, and seeking reward from Allah Almighty. Quranic texts and prophetic traditions have affirmed these concepts, establishing the pillars of a righteous Muslim society based on virtues and good characteristics.The importance of tolerance and justice is not limited to societies alone but also holds significant importance on the personal level for individuals. Justice is a human ideal that every person aspires to achieve and embody in society, as Islam has worked to establish and reinforce the values of justice among people.This paper is divided into an introduction, three sections, and a conclusion. The first section discusses the definition and essence of justice. The second section defines and explains tolerance. The third section examines justice and tolerance from an Islamic perspective.
