Manifestations of Historical Heritage in Bakr bin Al-Natah's Poetry

Abstract
The historical heritage serves as a crucial component of literary imagery and plays a significant role in the creative literary experience. This study focuses on this fundamental aspect by exploring the historical heritage reflected in the poetry of the Abbasid poet Bakr bin Al-Natah, who expressed a unique homage and appreciation for figures such as Abu Dalaf and others. To identify the historical contents, it is essential to examine the relationship between the influencer and the affected, revealing how these contents were inspired by and derived from specific sources that benefited the poet. It has become evident that the historical source, along with its tools, serves as the primary foundation of his heritage, enriching his poetry. This is clearly demonstrated in his work, which reflects his cultural background and his deep understanding of the contributions of others.
